Beachfront Relaxation
St. Augustine: You Will Probably Spend More Time Outside Than In
Love St. Augustine, but Like Your History Sprinkled With a Little Saltwater?
You will LOVE the Beachcomber Cottages on Vilano Beach – four buildings located on a quiet street on St. Augustine’s shell-filled Vilano Beach. The Beachcomber Cottages on Vilano consist of two raised cottages and two Caribbean-style homes that are located just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean.
Within the four cottages you’ll find eight different, separate suites—each with their own unique luxuries and first-class touches. Reserve just one for a romantic getaway, or book a group of them for a special family event, or a memorable girls’ weekend in St. Augustine. You’ll soon notice that there is nothing else like them on Vilano Beach.
Relax to the Sound of Ocean Waves and Gentle Breezes
The yellow house on the left houses three rooms—the Sandpiper (first floor), the Atlantic Suite (second floor) and the Lookout Suite (third floor). The Lookout also has exclusive access to the top floor deck. It’s a great place to watch the sun go down--or come up!
The front blue cottage is comprised of the Royal Palm (the suite on the left—including the second-floor deck) and the Dunes on the right. The Dunes includes the first-floor patio…it is a wonderful place to relax and listen to the waves!
The second blue cottage has wonderful ocean views, and boasts the privacy of having the entire cottage. Consider this cottage if your favorite furry friend loves jumping through the waves—this room is the only room that is pet friendly at Beachcomber Cottages on Vilano.
Ocean View and Private Pools
The fourth cottage is coral colored, and can be seen just behind the light yellow and blue house. It is about 40 feet away from the front two blue houses. You can see the second floor deck—and it has a view of the ocean. But more importantly, this cottage has private pools for its guests. The Lagoon Cottage (which comprises the second and third floors of the coral colored house, and is shown above) has a saltwater pool with a rock waterfall, and the Saltwater Suite (the entrance to this suite is on the opposite, western side of the house, and is shown in the photo below) has a plunge pool.
